Community Screening: No Place to Grow Old

Housing insecurity among older adults is a growing challenge across Virginia, and here in the Richmond region. Rising housing costs, limited affordable and accessible housing, fixed incomes, and increasing rates of homelessness are making it more difficult for many older adults to age safely and with dignity in the communities they call home.

Join the Partnership for Positive Aging for a special screening of No Place to Grow Old http://noplacetogrowold.com/, an award-winning documentary that follows older adults experiencing homelessness and explores the systemic factors contributing to this growing issue.

The afternoon will include the film screening, Richmond-focused discussion, a panel of local leaders and resources for getting involved in solutions that help older adults age safely and with dignity.

Community event in Glen Allen, VA 23060.
