Intervening can feel scary, but it doesn’t have to be! This is the most requested topic for this series, so let’s keep it practical. We will break down the bystander intervention framework: identifying signs of harming, exploring the 5 D’s, and applying these concepts to scenarios that actually happen at group kickbacks, bars, parties, and in public. The twist: we will focus on intervention techniques that feel doable for anyone. In small groups, everyone will also build together tangible effective bystander guides to take back to your chapters and friends!
