All ages. In commemoration of Veterans Day, we will be doing a focused walking tour at historic Woodland Cemetery. This tour will center on those who served their country valiantly despite living in a time and place when enslavement and then Jim Crow laws dictated their lives. We will take a deep dive into the lives of those who served at home as United States Colored Troops in the American Civil War through the ones who crossed oceans in 20th century conflicts. The tour will cover a large portion of the grounds so please dress accordingly. Information: [email protected] mailto:[email protected]
