Flash Fit Late Fall Youth Running Program 2026

This 5-week program will provide an opportunity for the youngest runners to enjoy being active through running-related games, zero-pressure drills, and fun practice races. For the older runners (~10 and over), they will continue to build their endurance base and drill down on form, agility, and pacing.

Details:

• Tuesdays starting November 17th (ending December 15th).

• Meeting at Washington-Liberty High School track.

• 9 & under: meet at 5:15pm

• 10 & over: meet at 5:45pm

• Parents run along for free and are encouraged to join; parents of the youngest runners should expect to participate if/as needed.

• The kids will all receive a post-run snack at the end of each run.

• All kids will receive a medal/prize at the end of the program - help your kids work toward that goal!

**Any weather-related postponements will be announced ASAP/by 3pm the day of the session. Coach Kate will add a make-up session(s) as possible before the end of 2026.

**If W-L track is closed due to a sporting event, we will run around the W-L campus and use the sports fields off Quincy as needed. Coach Kate will announce this move the day before a session.
