Love movies? The Young Adult Film Society is your ticket to discovering unforgettable stories, iconic characters, and the magic of cinema -- right here at the Richmond Public Library. Each month, we'll watch and discuss a mix of cult classics, old favorites, fresh new releases, and hidden gems, from blockbuster adventures to indie darlings. Whether you're a casual movie watcher, a future filmmaker, or a huge film buff, you'll find fun flicks and friends who are fellow film fans.
This is intended for ages 13 and up. Movie appropriateness will depend on the film chosen, which will be voted on by present young adults.
For October we will be screening the 1959 black and white cult classic House on Haunted Hill, which is a vintage, campy take on the horror genre.
