Join us in the Manor House at Garth Newel Music Center for Fall Foliage: J.S. Bach—The Complete Cello Suites, Part I.
Bach’s Six Cello Suites stand among the most enduring works in the Western canon. Garth Newel’s Fitz Gary, viola and Isaac Melamed, cello, present the suites across two programs, revealing the remarkable breadth, architecture, and expressive range of these extraordinary works.
Check the Garth Newel website for full program details and pricing. Children are welcome as long as they are old enough to enjoy the concert without distracting others. Tickets include concert and reception following the performance – featuring wine, beer, and heavy hors d’oeuvres.
Garth Newel Music Center is located on a beautiful century-old estate in Hot Springs. The concert hall, in an elegantly rustic repurposed riding barn, offers an intimate and welcoming setting in which to experience some of the world’s greatest music.
