Dean Fields w/ Sarah Siskind at Richmond Music Hall 10/11

Accomplished Singer-Songwriters Dean Fields and Sarah Siskind will perform in round-robin style at Richmond Music Hall https://capitalalehouse.com/richmond-music-hall/ on Sunday, October 11, 2026.

When Dean Fields was growing up in Richmond VA, he thought his dad and uncle Timmy wrote the Jim Croce and John Prine songs they played and sang in his living room. Those evening jam sessions inspired him to write and record six albums and tour the country playing over 1,000 shows.

Dean’s songs have been recorded by Lori McKenna, covered by Billy Currington, produced by Garth Brooks, #1 on Texas radio, and licensed by Disney, Paramount, Bayer, CVS, and more. He also co-wrote the title track for William Clark Green’s Grammy nominated album “Baker Hotel.”

Dean’s latest album, “While the Baby was Sleeping https://open.spotify.com/album/4TEnw6kN72n2BAIJR13qu2?si=8QpUL2L0Qsm_OftJZMA2ig ” was recorded, well, while the baby was sleeping: “Late at night after we put our son to bed, I'd kiss my wife goodnight and retire to my little studio above the garage and hit record. It was just me, my old guitar, and these songs of mine. My dad and uncle Timmy probably would’ve enjoyed playing these songs.”

North Carolina native Sarah Siskind http://www.sarahsiskind.com grew up in a musical family and then built her songwriting career in Nashville, TN where her album “Say it Louder” won the Nashville Music Award for “Best Americana Album.” Her artist career has produced over a dozen albums with guests such as Bill Frisell, Jerry Douglas, and Justin Vernon (Bon Iver), and she has toured with Bonnie Raitt, Mary Chapin Carpenter, Paul Brady, Bon Iver, and more.
