The Virginia Council and The Virginia War Memorial present Patrick K. O'Donnell.
Mr. O'Donnell is a bestselling, critically acclaimed military historian and a leading authority on elite and special operations units. He is the author of fourteen books, including Washington's Immortals, The Indispensables, The Unvanquished and The Unknowns, which have received numerous national awards. He is a senior fellow at Mount Vernon and a director and the historian of The OSS Society. He served as a combat historian with a Marine rifle platoon during the Battle of Fallujah, and has provided historical consulting for the award-winning miniseries Band of Brothers and for scores of documentaries produced by the BBC, the History Channel and Discovery.
